With blockchain-powered concepts of free-to-play (F2P) and play-to-earn (P2E) gaming transforming the traditional gaming landscape throughout 2022, investors, game development companies, and gamers are transitioning to the Web3 ecosystem.
In the latest development, metaverse technology and infrastructure provider Everyrealm has entered into a long-term partnership with award-winning mobile gaming studio Tilting Point. As part of this partnership, which aims to bring mobile-focused social video games to the forefront of Web3 gaming, Everyrealm will provide Tilting Studios with the support to revamp their popular mobile game Narcos: Cartel Wars for Web3.
Tilting Point’s new iteration of the game, due to release later this year, will tokenize in-game assets as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), allowing players to truly own, trade, and monetize them to deliver heightened engagement. Additionally, Tilting Point will launch an NFT passport, unlocking rewards for users within the platform’s gaming ecosystem.
Besides Narcos: Cartel Wars, a game that has already achieved more than 20 million installs, Tilting Point is also behind several popular mobile game titles, such as Star Trek Timelines, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest, Languins, Terragenesis, The Arcana, Zombieland: AFK Survival, and Spongebob: Krusty Cook-Off.
As a technology and infrastructure company constructing and investing across a wide range of immersive media projects, Everyrealm promotes the development of innovative virtual worlds, social video gaming, and metaverse initiatives. The platform is behind renowned community-driven projects like Fantasy Islands and The Row. In addition to supporting Tilting Point for its Narcos: Metaverse game, Everyrealm will also provide the technology and infrastructure for the upcoming social video game Hometopia.
The latest partnership between Everyrealm and Tilting Point represents a significant advancement in the Web3 gaming universe. With Everyrealm’s expertise in metaverse technology and Tilting Point’s experience in mobile gaming, this partnership is poised to bring mobile-focused social video games to the forefront of the industry.
