- VeChain Foundation unveils top 10 VeChain Community Video 2020 contest entries to celebrate the second anniversary of the mainnet.
- All interested parties can vote on three of the tickets from 5 to 12 July using VeVote.
In celebration of the second anniversary of the launch of the mainnet blockchain VeChainThor, the VeChain Foundation revealed the top 10 entries for its video contest. Announced in early June, the VeChain Community Video 2020 was created in 2018 to drive the adoption of the blockchain VeChainThor.
The main intention of the contest is to reaffirm the link between the VeChain Foundation and its community. That is why the VeChain Foundation stated:
We hosted the contest to allow our talented community to express the uniqueness of VeChain and its ecosystem through passion, creativity, and skill. The contest was well received and we truly had amazing submissions.
The contest videos were received until June 30th and had to be no longer than 10 minutes. In addition, videos were accepted in any language, with English subtitles. Regarding the content of the video, VeChain Foundation clarified that it needed to be suitable for all audiences and presented in the YouTube standard, 16:9 radio aspect.
The contest will have 4 prizes for the winners. In the first place 1 million VETs will be given, in the second place 2 winners will be chosen and each one will be given 500 thousand VETs. In the third place there will be 3 winners who will receive 200 thousand VETs each. Finally, there will be 4 honorable mentions who will receive 100 thousand VET each.

The VeChain community will choose its winners
The VeChain Foundation clarified that although they have chosen the top 10, the VeChain community will choose the final ranking and contest winners through a VeVote vote. All VeChain users will be able to participate in the voting process and choose from the following videos:

- VeChain, blueprint by Easy_Breezy_77.
- VeChain: A Turning Point by ionia_media.
- VeChain: Our global supply chain is evolving by jonahjames.
- What is VeChain: A brief summary by KyleCarter11.
- Toolchain Series Episode 1: The introduction by MatthijsL.
- VeChain — Dream it. Believe it. Build it. by Nox_vfx.
- VeChain Tokenomics: Data is the new oil and gold by TokenVision99.
- VeChain — The Future of Blockchain by veriartivra.
- Jeopardy VeChain Edition VET Bitcoin Crypto by Vechainnode.
To vote, users can use the official VeChainThor mobile wallet. To do so, VeChain users can vote by clicking on this link. Another way to vote is to enter the link using the VeChain Sync desktop client. Each voter will be able to choose 3 favorite videos. Finally, the VeChain Foundation revealed that the voting process will be open from July 5th at 23:59pm UTC+8 until July 12th at 23:59pm UTC+8. The winners will be announced via the VeChain Foundation’s Twitter account, @vechainofficial.
